Introduction
Zoho One's new unified user interface enables you to access all Zoho apps directly from Zoho One, instead of having to open them as separate tabs.
In this new version, you can access and arrange all your apps in the left navigation menu according to your convenience.
Apart from these apps, Zia Search and Calendar are also easily accessible from the left navigation menu.
- Zia Search allows you to search across all Zoho app platforms and provides you with useful results. Instead of having several tabs open, Zia Search peruses all Zoho apps and comes with the search results.
- Calendar helps you keep track of all appointments, meetings, and calls. For example, if you have a meeting scheduled in Zoho Meeting and a call in Cliq, Calendar collects this information from both apps and displays it in one place. This helps keep track of your work times and scheduled events without having to switch between different platforms.
Try the new version
When you sign in to your Zoho One account, you are shown a banner that asks you whether you want to try the new version or continue using the old version. Choose to try the new version so that you can familiarize yourself with the updated features.
You can also enable the new version for yourself by following the steps given below.
- Sign in to Zoho One.
- Click Try New Version in the top-right corner of the landing page.
This will allow you to experience the new UI and get used to its features.
NOTE: If your organization consists of 50 active users or less, then the above option will be visible to everyone. However, if your organization has more than 50 active users, the above option will be visible only to organization admins.
Enable the new version to users
If you're using the new version:
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
- Click Organization.
If you're using the old version:
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
- Click Organization.
You will be shown an option to allow users in your organization to try the latest version. You can enable it for organization admins, certain users, or all users in the organization.
NOTE: For all users who newly sign up for Zoho One after October 19, 2021, they will be shown the new UUI by default, without having any option to use the older version.
Let us look at an example to see how this works. The table below displays the admins, groups, and users of an organization.

Case 1: Enable for admins
When Jolene, an org admin, signs in to her Zoho One account, the banner that is displayed allows her to choose which users in her organization can use the new version of Zoho One.
Suppose she chooses the option "Zoho One admins". As a result, only Stella, Fred, and herself will be allowed to enable the new version for themselves.
NOTE: If Elaine enabled the new version for herself by clicking Try the new version, then her Zoho One account will be automatically rolled back to the old version, as she is not an org admin and the new version hasn't been enabled for her.
Case 2: Enable for groups
If Jolene chooses the option "Selected groups", she must select either or both of the groups. If she selects "Managers", only Justin, Blake, and Elaine will be allowed to enable the new version for themselves.
NOTE: If Gloria enabled the new version for herself by clicking Try the new version, then her Zoho One account will be automatically rolled back to the old version, as she is not part of the group "Managers" and the new version hasn't been enabled for her group.
Case 3: Enable for all users
If Jolene chooses the option "All users", then everyone in the organization will be allowed to enable the new version for themselves. In the above example, all twelve users in the organization will have access to the new version.
