Unified Tasks View

With the new Zoho One unified UI, managing tasks across multiple apps is now made easier. By using Tasks, found at the bottom of the left menu in the new unified UI, you can view and manage all your tasks that have been created across multiple Zoho apps, in one place.

Tasks help you to plan and organize your projects and schedules efficiently. You can either create tasks for yourself or assign them to other employees.

Unified Tasks View automatically syncs all the tasks with Zoho MailZoho CRMZoho ConnectZoho Projects, and Zoho People, and displays them all in one place.

How to access Unified Tasks View?

To view all your tasks in the new unified UI:
  1. Sign in to Zoho One.
  2. Click Tasks in the left navigation menu.
  3. In the left menu, click Unified view.

Adding new tasks

With Unified Tasks, you can also create and assign tasks in the specified apps in one place. To add a task:
  1. Sign in to Zoho One.
  2. Click Tasks in the left navigation menu.
  3. Click New Task in the left menu.

  4. Specify in which app the task should be created by clicking on the app icon near the Task Title field. For example, if you select Zoho Connect  , then the task will be created in the Zoho Connect app. After you select the app, you can:
    1. Add title, description, and subtasks
    2. Assign people to the task
    3. Attach files for the task
    4. Set priority and reminders for your task
  5. Click Save to add the task.
Note: Only the tasks that are assigned to you can be viewed in the Unified View.

You can also add tasks in the apps within the Unified View by clicking   near the app name. Once added, you can also edit the details of the tasks.

Delete tasks

To delete a task in the Unified View:
  1. Sign in to Zoho One.
  2. Click Tasks in the left navigation menu.
  3. In the left menu, click Unified view.
  4. Hover over the task that you want to delete, then click .
  5. Click Delete.
The task will also be deleted from the respective app.

Hide/unhide apps

You can choose to hide apps that you don't want to view in the Unified view. To hide/unhide an app:
  1. Sign in to Zoho One.
  2. Click Tasks in the left navigation menu.
  3. In the left menu, click Unified view.
  4. Click  icon in the top-right corner.
  5. Hover over the app that you want to hide, then click .
To unhide the app, click   icon in the top right corner. Hover over the hidden app, then click .

Organize apps

You can organize your apps within Unified view to view them according to your needs. To organize apps:
  1. Sign in to Zoho One.
  2. Click Tasks in the left navigation menu.
  3. In the left menu, click Unified view.
  4. Click  icon in the top right corner.
  5. Hover over the app that you want to organize, then click and drag .
