Why am I not able to view the Social tab?
The Social tab can be viewed and accessed only if the Social tab permission is enabled for your profile. The permission can be enabled by the CRM administrator only.
There are 2 places in CRM from where the social admin permission can be enabled:
- Profiles
- Social admin settings
To enable the permission from profiles
- Go to Setup> Users and Control > Security Control.
- Select the required profile and navigate to Social option, under Extension Permissions.
- Toggle the option Social Tab, On.
To enable the social tab permission from social admin settings
- Go to Setup > Channels > Social.
- Click on the Social Tab option under Admin Settings tab.
- Click on +Add Profile, and select the appropriate profile to provide the permission.
