Zendesk Sell for Zoho Directory

Prerequisites

  1. A Zendesk Sell Elite account

Configure SAML in Zoho One

  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then use the search bar to find and install Zendesk Sell.

  3. Name your app and enter your UUID.
    4. Note: To find your UUID, sign in to Zendesk Sell, click your account name, click Settings, then click Single Sign On under PREFERENCES.
  4. If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access Zendesk Sell, uncheck Display app to users.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Manage Application, then Single Sign-On.
  7. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
  8. Click Identity Provider Details, then make a note of the Issuer, the Sign-in URL, and the Fingerprint (sha-1).

Configure SAML in Zendesk Sell

  1. Sign in to your Zendesk Sell account.
  2. Click your account name in the top-right corner, then click Settings.
  3. Click Single Sign On under PREFERENCES.
  4. Click Configure, then select Manual setup.
  5. Enter the IdP Issuer in the Identity Provider Issuer ID field, the IdP Sign-in URL in the Identity Provider SSO URL field, and the IdP Fingerprint in the Identity Provider certificate fingerprint field.
  6. Click Save, then click Enable.

Test the SAML connection

  1. Return to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Zendesk Sell.
  3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  4. Click . If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Zendesk Sell's homepage.

Make app visible to all users

After successfully testing the SSO, you can make Zendesk Sell available for all users to access from their My Apps pages.

To make Zendesk Sell visible to all users:
  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Zendesk Sell.
  3. Click Edit, check Display app to users, then click Update.

  4. You can now access Zendesk Sell from Zoho One's My Apps page.
