Configure SAML in Zoho One

  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then use the search bar to find and install SugarCRM.

  3. Name your app and enter your Base URL.
    4. Note: Your Base URL is the URL you visit to sign in to your SugarCRM instance. It might look something like this: "zylker.sugarcrm.com"
  4. If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access SugarCRM, uncheck Display app to users.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Manage Application, then Single Sign-On.
  7. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
  8. Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Sign-in URL, the Sign-out URL, and the X.509 Certificate.

Configure SAML in SugarCRM

  1. Sign in to your SugarCRM account.
  2. Click your profile icon, then click Administration.
  3. Click Password Management under Users.
  4. Check Enable SAML Authentication.
  5. Enter the IdP Sign-in URL in the IdP SSO Target URL field, the IdP Sign-out URL in the SLO URL, and the IdP X.509 Certificate in the X509 Certificate field.
  6. Check Load login screen in same window to avoid pop-up blocking.
  7. Click Save.

Just-in-time provisioning

Just-in-time (JIT) provisioning creates a SugarCRM account for users during their first SSO attempt, so you don't have to do it manually for each user. SugarCRM enables JIT automatically when configuring SAML.

Test the SAML connection

  1. Return to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click SugarCRM.
  3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  4. Click . If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to SugarCRM's homepage.

Make app visible to all users

After successfully testing the SSO, you can make SugarCRM available for all users to access from their My Apps pages.

To make SugarCRM visible to all users:
  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click SugarCRM.
  3. Click Edit, check Display app to users, then click Update.

  4. You can now access SugarCRM from Zoho One's My Apps page.
