Zoho Campaigns integrates with SurveyMonkey and Zoho Survey to send survey-based email campaigns. This not only provides the valuable feedback of your service, but is also a great way to get the pulse of the market for your future strategies. SurveyMonkey users can integrate their account with Zoho Campaigns and add their online surveys to their email campaigns.
Integrating with survey accounts
Before you create a survey-based campaign, it's important to connect your Zoho Campaigns account with SurveyMonkey and Zoho Survey.
Connect your SurveyMonkey account
From the Navigation toolbar, click Settings.
Choose Apps under Integration.
Mouse over SurveyMonkey and click Connect.

- Send out the surveys created using your SurveyMonkey account, as email survey campaign.
- Click Continue.
- Log in to your account.
Connect your Zoho Survey account
- From the Navigation toolbar, click Settings.
- Choose Apps under Integration.

- Hover over Zoho Survey and click Connect.

- Add online surveys made using Zoho Survey, to your campaigns.

- Click Continue.
Create survey campaign
Once you integrate with survey-based websites, you can easily select any of your surveys to be sent in your campaigns. After your account is authorized, you can proceed with creating a survey based campaign.
To create a SurveyMonkey / Zoho Survey based campaign :
- From the Navigation toolbar, choose Campaigns and select Email Campaigns.

- Click Create Campaign in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Hover over the SurveyMonkey / Zoho Survey category and click Create New.

- Fill out the following information on the Basic Info page:
Campaign Name : Enter a name for the campaign
Survey : Choose a survey
Subject : Enter a subject for your campaign
Sender details : Enter your sender name and sender address.

- In the Content Configuration page, select a template from one of our options available :
- Basic Templates
- Pre-designed Templates
- Saved Templates

- Select the section where you want to add a survey merge tag and click Merge Tags.

- Scroll down and select Survey Merge Tags.

- Select a mailing list or segment to receive your campaign, and click Proceed.

- Send the campaign for review. Once your campaign is reviewed you can choose to send it out immediately or schedule it to be sent at a later date. You can also send them in batches.


Note

- A survey merge tag is mandatory to send survey based campaigns without which a survey report cannot be generated properly.
- If you don't have a survey merge tag you can choose one of our predesigned templates with merge tags embedded in it already. You can edit the merge tag if you want.
- To dynamically include contact information(name, email, etc.) using custom variables, you should add the same variable(URL parameter in Zoho Survey) in your survey's URL when you send it out.
Survey Reports
Once your campaign is sent, you can view the survey results in the Report Summary. The Campaign report shows the number of surveys delivered, opened, and clicked, In addition, Survey Reports highlights the following:
- Number of contacts who have completed/started/yet to start the survey
- Responses given by each contact

You can also view the list of contacts and their related activities on a completed survey in the Survey Reports page, as well as the reports section in your SurveyMonkey account.
