ScreenSteps for Zoho Directory
- Sign in to Zoho One/Directory, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
- In Zoho One, go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications. In Zoho Directory, go to Applications, then click Add Application.
- Use the search bar to find and add ScreenSteps.
ScreenSteps - Zoho One Marketplace ScreenSteps - Zoho Directory Enter the following details:
- Display Name
- Account ID
- Domain name
Note :
- You can find the Account ID in ScreenSteps when configuring SAML.
- Domain name is a part of your ScreenSteps account URL. If your ScreenSteps account URL is zylker.screensteps.com, then the domain name will be zylker.
- Click Add.
- Click Single Sign-On.
- Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
- Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Sign-in URL, the Sign-out URL, and download the X.509 Certificate.
- Sign in to your ScreenSteps account as an administrator.
- Click Settings in the left menu, then click Single Sign-on.
- Click Configure SSO.
- Enter a title for the new SSO endpoint and select SAML as the mode.
- Click Create.
- Paste the following information copied from Zoho One/Directory in their respective fields:
- Sign in URL in the Remote Login URL field.
- Sign-out URL in the Log out URL field.
- Click Upload new SAML Certificate file to upload the X.509 Certificate downloaded from Zoho One/Directory.
If needed, copy the SAML Consumer URL and paste it in the Assertion Consumer Service URL field in Zoho One/Directory (in the Service Provider Details section).
Note: The part of the SAML Consumer URL after the last slash mark (/) is your Account ID. - Click Update.
Just-in-time provisioning
Just-in-time (JIT) provisioning creates a ScreenSteps account for users during their first SSO attempt. This means you don't have to do so manually for each user. JIT is enabled by default in ScreenSteps.
In ScreenSteps, you can have the users who sign in with JIT provisioning assigned to a group automatically.
To assign such users to a group:
- Sign in to your ScreenSteps account as an administrator.
- Click Settings in the left menu, then click Single Sign-on.
- In the Group list, select the group the users should be assigned to.
- Click Update.
Test the SAML connection
- Return to the Admin Panel in Zoho One/Directory.
- Go to Applications, then click ScreenSteps.
- Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
- Click . If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to ScreenSteps' homepage.
- After successfully testing the connection, you can start assigning the app and make it available for all users in their My Apps pages.
Enforce SAML SSO
After successfully testing SSO, you can enforce it for all users. Once this is done, your users will no longer be able to sign in using their ScreenSteps credentials.
To restrict users to SSO:
- Sign in to your ScreenSteps account as an administrator.
- Click Settings in the left menu, then click Single Sign-on.
- Select Active.
- Click Update.
