Opsgenie for Zoho Directory

Prerequisites

  1. Available on the Standard and Enterprise plans

Configure SAML in Zoho One/Directory

If you're a Zoho One user:

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
  3. Use the search bar to find and install Opsgenie.

      

If you're a Zoho Directory user:

  1. Sign in to Zoho Directory, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
  3. Use the search bar to find and add Opsgenie.
  4. Name your app and enter the Account ID.
    Note: You can find your Account ID in the Identifier field of your Opsgenie account in the following format:
    https://app.opsgenie.com/auth/saml?id={Account ID}
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click the Single Sign-On tab.
  7. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them if needed.
  8. Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Sign-in URL and the X.509 Certificate.

Configure SAML in Opsgenie

  1. Sign in to Opsgenie as an administrator.
  2. Click Settings, then click Login and SSO under APP SETTINGS.
  3. Click Switch to Opsgenie login under Login settings.
  4. Select SAML as your identity provider.
  5. Paste the previously-copied Sign-in URL in the SAML 2.0 Endpoint field.
  6. Paste the previously-copied X.509 Certificate in the X.509 Certificate field.
  7. Check Enable Single Sign-on.
  8. Click Apply SSO Changes.

Just-in-time provisioning

Just-in-time (JIT) provisioning creates an Opsgenie account for users during their first SSO attempt, so you don't have to do it manually for each user. Opsgenie automatically enables JIT while configuring SAML.

Test the SAML connection

  1. Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Opsgenie.
  3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  4. Click the  icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Opsgenie's homepage.
