Devices enrollment - Overview

Enrollment allows you to manage your organization's devices through Zoho One. Zoho One supports various enrollment methods to enroll multiple devices according to the needs of your organization. If you are currently using ManageEngine MDM or ManageEngine MDM (MSPs) for managing your devices, you can also integrate and manage them in Zoho One. Once devices are enrolled, you can assign the devices to users in Zoho One.

The two types of enrollment in Zoho one are:
  1. BYOD enrollment
  2. Corporate enrollment

BYOD enrollment

BYOD enrollment lets admins enroll employees' personal devices in Zoho One. To ensure the confidentiality of employees' personal data, a separate work profile is created on devices enrolled through the BYOD enrollment. The organization exercises total control over the work profile, but no control over the personal profile. In Android and iOS, these devices are called "Profile Owner" and "Unsupervised devices", respectively.
IT admins can enroll employees' personal devices in the following ways:

Corporate enrollment

Corporate enrollment enables admins to enroll company-owned devices in Zoho One and offers them complete control over those devices. In Android and iOS, the devices enrolled through corporate enrollment are called "Device Owner" and "Supervised devices" respectively.
