You are trying to activate more users than the allowed license limit of 'n' users
Description
You may face this error when:
- You are trying to add a new user
- You are trying to activate an inactive user
Reason
In Zoho One, you will have to purchase a license for every
active user in your organization. If you are trying to add a user without having sufficient licenses, you will be shown this error.
Note: The user added with the complementary accountant license also counts as an active user.
Solution
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click Admin Panel from the left menu.
- Go to Users, then select Active Users from the drop-down list.
- Check if the number of active users is equal to the number of licenses you have purchased.
Info: To view how many licenses you have, click your account icon in the top-right corner, then see under Subscription.
- If yes, then do one of the following:
- If you have active users who are created for testing purposes or users who are currently not part of the organization, deactivate those users to free up licenses, then add the new user.
- Purchase an additional license, then add the new user.
- If no, then write to support@zohoone.com to resolve the issue.
