Why do my images appear rotated when I upload them to Zoho Social?
We're so sorry that your images appear rotated while uploading them to Zoho Social. This is currently a global issue seen across the social media marketing tools.
As you're reading this, it's our top priority to give you the best experience and our engineers are working hard to fix it.
This is due to a hiccup with the orientation tag that was assigned to your image when it was taken. This is common with images shot from mobile phones. Your image will appear right on your device but might appear rotated when you try uploading it from the New Post Window.
Here's a workaround to upload the image with the right orientation:
- Open the image in a photo viewing application such as Preview for Mac or Windows, or Photo Viewer for Desktop.
- Rotate the image four times along one direction until it gets back to the original orientation.
- Save this image as a new file. (So that a new orientation tag is assigned for this image.)
- Upload this new image to Zoho Social.
While we know this isn't the best suggestion, it is the only workaround at hand now.
