What happens if I didn't associate a marketing contact with a topic?
You can associate those contacts to the relevant topic after adding them into the organization or from within a mailing list. However, you need to associate your contacts with the relevant topics if you want to send email campaigns to them.
Marking contacts as non-marketing will ensure that they will no longer receive any marketing emails and they will be unsubscribed from all topics. Please note that you can subscribe topics to these contacts again, anytime in future, if needed.
