Using the Three-pane Ticket Interface

Using the Three-pane Ticket Interface

By default, the ticket information in Zoho Desk is displayed in two panes. You can view a ticket's properties in the left pane and its details on the right. This two-pane layout is spacious and helps you to see more information on the screen at one time. However, it doesn't come handy, when you want to navigate quickly between tickets.

This is where the three-pane ticket detail view comes in. Divided into three panes; the left pane will display the tickets under a List View. The middle pane is specific to the properties, and the right pane is all about the conversations. The three-pane view reduces the white space and allows you to switch from one ticket to another.

To switch to three-pane view:
  1. Open the ticket to view its details.
  2. From the Ticket Detail view, hover your mouse over the List icon (  ) in the left panel.
  3. Click the Pin icon (  ) from the top tab.
The three-pane view will be displayed.
You can click the Unpin icon (  ) from the same location to switch to the two-pane view.

Note:
  • Three-pane view is not available for screen resolutions of 12 inches and lower.
