In Sansan, the contact information of business contacts is stored in the form of digital business cards. With the Sansan extension for Zoho CRM, you can sync those business card details into Zoho CRM, and get them mapped within the Contacts or Leads modules. Only one-way sync is available from Sansan to Zoho CRM.
Installing the extension
You can install the Sansan extension either from Zoho Marketplace or from within your Zoho CRM account as follows:
- Go to Setup > Marketplace > All. All the installed extensions will be listed.
Click All Extensions and to view the extensions supported by your CRM edition. - Under All Extensions, browse for and click Sansan.
The details about the extension will be available. - Click Install.
- Agree to the terms of service and click Install.
- Choose one of the following options, then click Confirm:
- Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for users with the administrator profile.
- Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
- Choose profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, then select the desired profiles.
The extension will be installed automatically for the specified users.
- In the pop-up, enter the API key and click Save.
Note:
- If you skip this step, you can authorize it later from your Setup page in Zoho CRM. To do so, go to Setup, then select Marketplace under All. Find the Sansan extension and click Configure.
- To obtain your API key, go to your Sansan dashboard, and copy the Issue API key.
Setting up synchronization
Once the extension is installed, you can set up your sync settings in the Extension Details page. To set up synchronization, follow the below steps.
- In the Extension Details page, click Settings.
The Sansan Configuration page will open. - In CRM Module, choose Leads or Contacts.
- In Enable Auto Update, choose Yes or No.
If Yes is chosen, you can select the fields where your data will be mapped. If No, you should enrich data manually in Zoho CRM records. - In Merge Fields, select the Sansan fields and its corresponding CRM fields to sync data.
- In Schedule Sync, tap ON for periodic sync.
- In Duration, select Daily or Weekly.
- Click Save Settings.
The synchronization will happen based on your settings. The sync settings can be altered at anytime.
Getting enriched data
The enriched data can be obtained either in Leads or Contacts based on your sync settings.
To get enriched data:
- Open a record in the Leads or Contacts module.
- Ensure the record has a valid email address for leads and contacts.
- The enriched data will be displayed in the Business card widget.
Uninstalling the extension
To uninstall the extension:
- Go to Setup > Marketplace > All. All the installed extensions will be listed.
Under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported in your CRM. - Browse for Sansan and click the corresponding Uninstall link.
- Click Ok to confirm and uninstall the extension.
