Prerequisites

  1. A Premium or Ultimate account with RingCentral

Configure SAML in Zoho One

  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then use the search bar to find and install RingCentral.

  3. If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access RingCentral, uncheck Display app to users.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Click Manage Application, then Single Sign-On.
  6. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
  7. Scroll down to ATTRIBUTE MAPPING, enter "email" under Attribute Name, select "basic" under Format, and select "Primary Email Address" under Attribute Value.
  8. Click Identity Provider Details, then download the IDP Metadata file.

Configure SAML in RingCentral

  1. Sign in to your RingCentral Admin Portal.
  2. Click Tools, then click Single Sign-on.
  3. Click Set Up under Set up SSO by yourself.
  4. Select Upload with file under Upload Metadata by, then upload your IdP Metatada file.
  5. Scroll down to Attribute Mapping, select Custom under Map Email Attribute to, then enter "email" in the input field.
  6. Check Enable SSO Service, then click Save.

Test the SAML connection

  1. Return to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click RingCentral.
  3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  4. Click . If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to RingCentral's homepage.

Enforce SAML SSO

After successfully testing SSO, you can enforce it for all users. Once this is done, your users will no longer be able to sign in using their RingCentral credentials. To restrict users to SSO:
  1. Sign in to your RingCentral Admin Portal.
  2. Click Tools, then click Single Sign-on.
  3. Choose Allow users to log in only with SSO under Manage Your Login, then click Save.

Make app visible to all users

After successfully testing the SSO, you can make RingCentral available for all users to access from their My Apps pages.

To make RingCentral visible to all users:
  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click RingCentral.
  3. Click Edit, check Display app to users, then click Update.

  4. You can now access RingCentral from Zoho One's My Apps page.
