Process Management - An Overview

Process Management - An Overview

Business processes are a series of activities performed by a group of users to achieve a specific goal. Whether it's a small startup or a large corporate firm, most organizations have countless processes running every day that aids in streamlining their business. A client on-boarding, content marketing, managing deliveries or manager's approval all come under this big umbrella - 'Business process'.

Business processes could be specific to one department or require input from people in multiple departments, increasing the risk of tasks being overlooked, errors being introduced, or gaps in information. Therefore, it's important to set a standard procedure to avoid inconsistencies, redundancies, or gaps in the process.

Zoho CRM offers some easy-to-use features that can help build flowcharts and create logical steps for the process to make it repeatable, productive, and well structured.

Blueprint: A blueprint is a flowchart that represents end-to-end operations in a business process. Create a blueprint of your business process to help your representatives identify the right actions to take. The sales reps will be able to move the record to the next step in the process once they have satisfied the conditions set for that step. Learn more.

Approval Process: Automate the process of approving records in CRM by creating an Approval process. Specify the criteria for records to be considered for approval and choose the users who need to approve the records. Learn more.
