Mailchimp for Zoho Desk

View Mailchimp Campaigns right from Zoho Desk. With this integration, support team members can easily get the full picture on which email campaigns are sent to a customer and the status of each campaign. You can also send campaigns from Zoho Desk.

Install and Configure Mailchimp Extension
The Mailchimp extension can be installed from Zoho Marketplace or from your Zoho Desk account itself.
Follow the steps below to install the Mailchimp Extension from Zoho Desk.
  1. Log in to your Zoho Desk account with Administrator privileges.
  2. Click the Setup icon  ) in the top bar.
  3. Click All under Marketplace.
  4. Search for Mailchimp in the search bar on the right hand side of the screen.
  5. Select the Mailchimp extension and then click Buy Now.
    You'll be redirected to the payments page for purchasing. After which, a pop-up will be displayed to install the extension.
  6. Click Install Now.
  7. In Mailchimp installation setup page,
    • Select Profiles whose agents can access the extension in Zoho Desk.
    • Agree to Terms of Use
    • Click Install



  8. Click Authorize.
  9. Enter your username and password and click Log In.
  10. Enter your Mailchimp domain name, then hit the Return key on your keyboard.



To obtain Mailchimp domain name
  1. Log in to your Mailchimp account.
    User specific domain name can be obtained from the URL of the landing page. 
  2. Copy the domain name (highlighted part) and use it during configuration.




Viewing Mailchimp data from Zoho Desk
Once the extension is installed and your Mailchimp account is authorized, Campaigns from Mailchimp can be viewed right from Zoho Desk. You can view Mailchimp data from two different locations in Zoho Desk: Top band and a ticket's detail sub tab.

View Mailchimp data from the top band
  1. Click the () icon in the top band (menu bar).
  2. Click Mailchimp under Extension in the drop-down menu.




    • The Campaigns tab lists your Mailchimp campaigns and statuses.
      • Status indicates if a campaign has been Sent or if it's a Draft
      • Opens indicates the percentage of views (if a campaign has been sent)
      • Clicks indicates the percentage of clicks (if a campaign has been sent)
    • The Mailing List tab lists all the mailing lists from Mailchimp.
      • Subscribers indicates the number of subscribers on the list
      • Opens indicates the percentage of opens by the subscribers in the list
      • Clicks indicates the percentage of clicks by the subscribers in the list

Note:
  • The name of the mailing list a campaign is sent to, will be displayed below the campaign name in the Campaigns tab.

View Mailchimp data from sub band of a ticket's detail page
  1. Click on the () icon located in the sub tab of the ticket's detail page.
  2. Click on Mailchimp.
    • The Campaigns tab includes all sent campaigns and status indication of Opened or Not Yet Opened.
    • The Mailing List tab includes Subscribed List and Other List.

Send Campaigns from Zoho Desk
With the Mailchimp extension, you can even send Mailchimp Campaigns right from Zoho Desk. 
  1. Click the () icon in the top band (menu bar).
  2. Click Mailchimp under Extension in the drop-down menu. 
  3. Click the Campaigns tab under the Mailchimp menu.
  4. Click the More icon  ) in a campaign record with the status Sent.
  5. Click Replicate to create a new draft.
  6. Click on the newly created draft.
  7. From the drop down, choose the list you want to send the campaign to.
  8. Click Save and then click Send.



Note:
  • Whenever a campaign is replicated and edited, it will be saved as a draft. It could be sent to the required Mailing List when needed.
