Configure SAML in Zoho One/Directory

If you're a Zoho One user:

  1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
  3. Use the search bar to find and install Kasm.
  

If you're a Zoho Directory user:

  1. Sign in to Zoho Directory, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
  3. Use the search bar to find and add Kasm.

  4. Name your app, and enter the Base URL and Unique Id.
    If the Single Sign On Service URL automatically created in Kasm is https://kasm.server/api/acs/?id=a34gd567e, then the base URL is "kasm.server" and the unique ID is "a34gd567e".
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click on the Single Sign-On tab.
  7. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
  8. Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Issuer, the Sign-in URL, and the X.509 Certificate.

Configure SAML in Kasm

  1. Sign in to Kasm as an administrator, then go to Authentication.
  2. Click SAML, then click Create New Configuration.
  3. Check Enable and enter "Zoho Directory" under Display name.
  4. Paste the previously-copied Issuer in the Identity Provider Entity ID field in the Kasm SAML Configuration form.
  5. Paste the previously-copied Sign-in URL in the Identity Provider Single Sign On Service field in the Kasm SAML Configuration form.
  6. Paste the previously-copied X.509 Certificate in the X509 Certificate field in the Kasm SAML Configuration form.
  7. Click Submit.

Test the SAML connection

  1. Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Kasm.
  3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  4. Click on the  icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Kasm's homepage.
