Is it possible to moderate all the emails that are being sent to a particular group?
Yes. To moderate all emails sent to a group, create a Moderated/Restricted group. To create a Moderated group, set the Access level to Moderators only. This allows only the administrator and the moderators of the group to send emails to the group address. Emails received from others have to be moderated before they're sent to the respective group.
