Import Contacts from Google Contacts
Zoho Campaigns enables you to import contacts from Google Contacts. Google Contacts includes contacts you have in your Gmail account. All you have to do is integrate your Zoho Campaigns account with Google Contacts and create sync. Contacts in your Google Contacts will be automatically imported as contacts into your Zoho Campaigns account.
Create Sync
- From the Navigation toolbar, choose Contacts, then select Sync Services.
- Click on New Sync under Google Contacts.
Enter following details,
- Sync Name- This is for internal reference.
- Google Group - Select which Google group you want to import contacts from. The options may differ according to how you have classified contacts in your Google account.
- Sync To - Choose the mailing list into which you want to import the contacts.
- Click Next.
Sync Detail View
From the
Navigation toolbar, choose
Contacts, then select
Sync Services.
Click on Active Syncs under Google Contacts.
Hover over the sync, then click
View Details.
You can view sync details such as mapped list and last retrieval time, and contact details like number of newly added, re-added, duplicate and deleted contacts. The sync will remain active until the completion of the contact import.
Import Details/History
Use this option to get a detailed history of the contacts synced from Google Contacts to Zoho Campaigns. You can see this in the detailed view of the sync.

| Contacts imported/synced in a single fetch.

| Contacts added to the Campaigns organization.

Re-added Contacts
| Contacts already deleted in Campaigns account but now added again.
|
Duplicate Contacts
| Contacts already present in Campaigns account.
|
Ignored Contacts
| Contacts not added to the mailing list.
|
Deleted Contacts
| Contacts deleted in Google Contacts and getting updated in Campaigns as well.
|
Contacts are ignored during the import if they fall under one of the following categories,
Status

Bounced
| Contacts bounced from the recipient's inbox, or email addresses do not exist.

Do-Not-Mail
| Contacts added to the Campaigns organization.
|
Group Email(s)
| Contacts with a role or group email address. For example, info@, administrator@, careers@, service@, or support@.

File Duplicate(s)
| Contacts present more than once in the file.
|
Invalid Pattern
| Contacts with an invalid pattern. For example, patriciazylker.com, or john@gnail.com
|
Empty email address
| Contacts whose email address field is missing.
