Scope:
To explain in detail the functionalities and advantages of integrating Accounting Free extension with Zoho CRM.
Install the Freee extension:
You can install the Freee extension either from Zoho Marketplace or from within your Zoho CRM account as follows:
Go to Setup > Marketplace > All. All the installed extensions will be listed.
Click All Extensions and to view the extensions supported by your CRM edition.
Under All Extensions, browse for and click Freee.
The details about the extension will be available.
Click Install.
Agree to the terms of service and click Install.
Choose one of the following options, then click Confirm:
Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for users with the administrator profile.
Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
Choose profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, then select the desired profiles.
The extension will be installed automatically for the specified users.
Once installed, the Freee Accounting extension needs to be configured to integrate the extension with Zoho CRM. To configure the Freee extension, please configure the following requirements.
Authorize the Freee accounting portal using the Authorize or sign-up option.
Enter the required credentials:
1. Company ID: The ID of the Business Office to which the user belongs to.
2. Account item ID: The ID of the Account category to which a particular product falls under.
3. Tax code: The type of tax that belongs to corresponding sales. These will be applied to all quotes.

Overview:
The Freee Accounting extension helps SMBs (Small and Mid-sized businesses) handle all accounting related tasks efficiently. Those who already use the Freee Accounting extension can now integrate the extension with Zoho CRM to increase efficiency. Others can also make use of this extension to make accounting-related tasks automated, by creating a new account on the Freee Accounting portal. While deals and quotes could be created on Zoho CRM earlier, they can now be automatically created on the Freee Accounting extension, using the transaction details. The integration of the Freee Accounting extension can save time on accounting operations. This document explores the modules offered by the Freee Accounting extension in detail, and the advantages it carries.
Modules:
The following four modules are present within the Freee Accounting extension. These are namely Accounts, Deals, Quotes, and Related Lists. These modules supplement Zoho CRM by making accounting tasks simpler and more efficient. This document further explores the modules available on the Freee Accounting extension.
Accounts:
In order to access the Freee Accounting extension, an account has to be created on the portal. The account stores all the relevant transaction details performed from the account, and enables the creation of new records on the Freee Accounting extension portal. This account is called a partner account. Each account is assigned a unique Freee partner ID. This partner ID is used to map a quote created on the portal, to a partner account.
While the Freee extension records the currency data in JPY (Japanese Yen), the data is still recorded on Zoho CRM in USD (United States Dollars). For Zoho CRM to also record the currency details in JPY, users have to manually change the Locale information. The steps to update the Locale information are listed below.

Deals:
When the probability of closing/winning a deal is 100%, a deal is created as a transaction on the Freee Accounting portal. Every transaction recorded on the Freee Accounting extension portal is mapped to a partner account, using the Freee partner ID. When a deal is created on the Freee Accounting extension, all transaction details are stored and listed.
Quotes:
In order to create a quote on the Freee Accounting extension, open the Quotes view page. Click on Push Quotes to Freee to create a quote. These quotes can be mapped to the partner account, using the Freee Partner ID. In a case where a Quote account is not available to a partner account on Freee, a new Freee account will be created. This account will later be used to push quotes to the Freee Accounting portal.
Related Lists:
All the data of the deals and quotes created on the Freee portal, is available in the Accounts related lists. These lists are extensive; capturing all the deals and quotes data, and recording them under either the Freee Quotations list, or the Freee Transactions list.
Freee quotations: These are the quotes that are linked with individual partners, that will be listed under the Freee quotations related list.
Freee Transactions: Deals that are linked with individual partner accounts will be listed under the Freee transaction related list.
Uninstall the extension
To uninstall the extension:
Go to Setup > Marketplace > All. All the installed extensions will be listed.
Under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported in your CRM.
Browse for Freee and click the corresponding Uninstall link.
