Flatter Files for Zoho Directory
Prerequisites
- Administrator Flatter Files account.
- Your domain must be verified by Flatter Files. To do this, it must be sent to support@flatterfiles.com for approval.
If you're a Zoho One user:
- Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
- Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
- Use the search bar to find and install Flatter Files.
If you're a Zoho Directory user:
- Sign in to Zoho Directory, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
- Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
- Use the search bar to find and add Flatter Files.
- Name your app.
- Click Add.
- Click the Single Sign-On tab.
- Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
- Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Sign-in URL and the X.509 Certificate.
- Sign in to your Flatter Files account as an administrator.
- Click DASHBOARD in the left navigation menu, then click Settings.
- Click Company in the top menu.
- Check Use SAML 2.0 for Authentication.
- Click Configure SAML.
- Enter the domain name.
The domain name entered must be sent to
support@flatterfiles.com for approval. If it has not been added to the approval list, an error message will be shown when you try to update the SAML settings.
- Paste the previously-copied Sign-in URL in the Identity Provider URL field.
- Paste the previously-copied X.509 Certificate in the Identity Provider Certificate field.
- Click Update.
Test the SAML connection
- Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
- Go to Applications, then click Flatter Files.
- Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
- Click the icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Flatter Files' homepage.
