Facebook shows an incorrect thumbnail when I share a post or URL. Why is this?

This is a common issue that can be handled using the Facebook debugger tool.

1. Follow this link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/.
   
2. Paste your site URL in the text box.
   
3. Click the Show existing scrape information button.
   
4. Facebook will provide different images to display. Select one, then click Fetch new scrape information.
