Enplug for Zoho Directory
Prerequisites
- Enplug Enterprise plan.
- Enplug Administrator account with Security user permission.
- If you're a Zoho One user:
- Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.
- Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
- Use the search bar to find and install Enplug.
- If you're a Zoho Directory user:
- Sign in to Zoho Directory , then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
- Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
- Use the search bar to find and add Enplug.
- Name your app.
- Click Add.
- Click on the Single Sign-On tab.
- Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
- Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Issuer, the Sign-in URL, and the X.509 Certificate.
- Sign in to Enplug account as administrator.
- Click Account in the left menu in the Enplug dashboard.
- Go to Single Sign On, then click Enable Single Sign-On.
- Paste the previously-copied Issuer, Sign-in URL, and X.509 Certificate in their respective fields.
- Click Enable. Once SAML SSO is configured in Enplug, all the users except the administrators with Security user permission must sign in to Enplug only using SSO by default.
- To enable the users to sign in using their Enplug credentials, go to Users, then select Password Sign In for the users. It is recommended to let users sign in using their passwords before testing the SAML configuration, to prevent them from getting locked out of their accounts.
Test the SAML connection
- Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
- Go to Applications, then click Enplug.
- Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
- Click on the icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Enplug's homepage.
Enforce SAML SSO
After successfully testing SSO, you can enforce it for all users. Once this is done, your users will no longer be able to sign in using their Enplug credentials. To restrict users to SSO:
- Sign in to Enplug account as administrator.
- Click Account in the left menu of the Enplug dashboard.
- Go to Users, then unselect Password Sign In for the users.
