Editing your Drafts

Here are some points to note when you're managing drafts:
  1. Only users with publishing permissions can edit Drafts.
  2. Admins on Zoho Social have permissions to schedule and publish posts by default.
To edit your drafts, follow these steps:
  1. Head over to Posts tab and then click Drafts from the column on your left.
  2. Click on the Edit icon that appears next to the post and make the required changes.
  3. To save your changes, click the Update draft button, and the post will be saved in the Drafts section under the Posts tab


Editing Drafts saved by other users

Here are some points to remember when you're managing draft posts saved by other users:
  1. Please note that you need to have the required publishing permissions to edit and publish draft posts.
  2. The drafts created by a Portal Admin can only be edited by another Portal Admin—Brand Admins or Users cannot edit a Portal Admin's draft.
  3. Brand Admins can only edit drafts created by other Brand Admins or Users.
  4. Likewise, Users can only edit drafts created by other Users.
To edit drafts saved by other users:
  1. Head over to Posts tab and then click Drafts from the column on your right.
  2. Click on the Edit icon that appears next to the post and make the required changes.
  3. To save your changes, click the Update draft icon, and the post will be saved in the Drafts section under the Posts tab




  1. To publish the content right away, click Post Now and the post will go live on the social channels you've selected from the Publishing window.
  2. To schedule the post for another day, you can select the following options such as: Schedule, SmartQ, or Add to CustomQ, and your post will be scheduled for a particular date and time.
Please note that Zoho Social transfers the ownership of content to the user who last edits, publishes, or schedules the draft post.

The modified draft posts, published posts, and scheduled posts will be listed under the following sections in the Posts tab: Drafts, Scheduled Posts or Published Posts, depending on the actions you take from the Publishing window.
