Attachments are files, photos, videos, and more that are added to a ticket, bringing additional context to it. It's quick and easy for your customers to share attachments via email tickets, but there are constraints when you want to download them to your desktop, especially when there are scores of them. So if you're tired of downloading hundreds of attachments one at a time? Then this extension is for you.
The Download All Attachments extension allows you to download files attached to individual ticket threads or the attachment tab as a single ZIP file. You can also select the files to be downloaded by clicking the checkbox provided adjacent to each file name. After selecting files, press Download as ZIP available at the bottom of the screen.

Installing the Extension
The Download All Attachments extension can be installed from the Zoho Marketplace or your Zoho Desk account.
To install the extension:
- Log in to your Zoho Desk account with Administrator privileges.
- Click the Setup icon ( ) in the top bar.
- Under Marketplace, click All.
- Search for 'Download All Attachments' in the search bar on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Select the Download All Attachments for Zoho Desk extension and click Install.
- Click Install on the Confirm Installation window.
You will land on the General Settings page. - Select the Departments and Profiles whose agents can access the extension in Zoho Desk.
- Agree to the Terms of Use and click Install.
- The extension will be installed for the specified departments and profiles.
- Click Authorize in the pop-up window to activate the extension.
- Click Accept to allow Zoho Workflow to access data in your Zoho Desk account.
- Voila! Download All Attachments extension will be ready for use.
Upon successful installation, the extension can be accessed under the More Actions menu ( ) inside tickets.
Downloading from the Attachments Tab
You can download the attachments that are uploaded to the Attachment tab of a ticket.
To download attachments:
- Open a ticket from which you want to download attachments.
- Click on the More Actions icon ( ) at the top right corner of the ticket.
- Click Download All Attachments from the drop menu to open the extension panel.
- Select or unselect the attachments you want to download as a ZIP file.
- Click Download as ZIP.
The ZIP file will be saved in your default download location.
Downloading from Ticket Conversations
You can download the attachments that are uploaded to a ticket conversation.
To download attachments:
- Open a ticket from which you want to download attachments.
- Hover your mouse pointer and click the More Actions icon ( ) corresponding to a ticket conversation.
- Click Download All Attachments from the drop menu to open the extension panel.
- Select or unselect the attachments you want to download as a ZIP file.
- Click Download as ZIP.
The ZIP file will be saved in your default download location.
Note:
- Attachments added to comments cannot be downloaded using this extension.
Uninstalling the Extension
You can uninstall the Download All Attachments extension at any time. Once uninstalled, your agents cannot download ticket attachments as ZIP file.
To uninstall the extension:
- Click the Setup icon ( ) in the top bar.
- In the Setup Landing page, click All under Marketplace.
- In the Marketplace page, select the Installed Extensions tab.
- Choose Download All Extensions from the list of extensions.
- Click the More Actions icon ( ) at the upper-right corner of the Download All Attachments extension setup page.
- Select Uninstall Extension.
- Click Confirm to uninstall the extension.
