Dormant Campaign

To know how an email campaign will look in your subscribers' inbox, you generally make use of our test email functionality. But what if you want to know about your campaign's performance? In order to help you with this, we've come up with a functionality called Dormant Campaign.
You can mark a campaign as Dormant and send it to a group of selected recipients. This is similar to a test email, but with many added perks. You can view the basic reports of a dormant campaign. Besides this, you can maintain a record of all the dormant campaigns you send. 

Mark this campaign dormant

You can mark a campaign dormant by following the instructions below:
  1. From the Navigation toolbar, click Campaigns and select Regular Campaigns.

  2. Select the campaign which you want to mark as dormant.
  3. In the campaign's detailed view page, click More on the top right corner. 
  4. Select Mark this campaign dormant from the drop-down menu. 

  5. Click Go Ahead.
Notes :
  1. You can send a dormant campaign for upto 25 uniques recipients.
  2. Once a campaign is marked as dormant, it will have the following effects :
    1. Exclude contacts will be disabled
    2. Email policy will not be applied
Once you mark a campaign dormant, it will be labelled  DORMANT , both in the list view as well as detailed view. 

Campaign Reports 

The basic reports of a dormant campaign are similar to that of any other campaign. It provides all the basic report elements like report summary, recipient activity, click activity, user agent stats, top five stats and more.  
Note:  Reports of a dormant campaign are confined to basic reports. You cannot view advanced reports for a dormant campaign.
