Distribute app

Distribute app

You can remotely install apps to the enrolled devices. There are two types of app distribution:
  1. Silent installation - Allows an app to be installed in the device with minimal user intervention. For corporate devices, the apps will be installed automatically. For BYOD devices, the user will receive a notification. Once they accept it, the app will be automatically installed.
  2. Manual installation from App Catalog - Allows users to install the required app by themselves, from Zoho One App Catalog.
You can distribute apps to devices individually or to a group. If you want to distribute an app to a group, make sure to enable MDM for that group.

To distribute apps:
  1. Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. To distribute apps to an individual device, click Device management in the left menu, then go to the Devices tab. To distribute apps to a group, click Groups in the left menu.
  3. Click on the required device or group, then click Installable Apps.
  4. Click Distribute Apps.
  5. Select the apps you want to distribute.
  6. Choose Silent installation or Manual installation from App Catalog.
  7. Click Distribute Apps.
