Create and Manage Products

Create and Manage Products

Products can be either goods or services, which are sold or procured by your organization. In Bigin, you can manage your company- wide products that are sold to the customers as well as procured from vendors. Both sales and purchasing departments can use the Products module effectively according to their department process. If your organization procures products from vendors and then sells to customers with a markup, both the sales and purchasing departments can coordinate more effectively.
Sales departments can use the products module along with other modules, such as leads, accounts, potentials, quotes, sales orders, and invoices. Purchasing departments can use the module along with Vendors and Purchase Orders. In general, the Product details page contains the product name, manufacturer or reseller name, part numbers, sales start and end dates, support start and end dates, price, stock position to name a few.

When there are lot of records in the products module, using filters will help find the required set of records easily. There are various set of advanced filters available such as: Time based filters, based on activities carried out,  deal stage, email status, etc. You can simply choose the appropriate filter, enter the criteria and apply. All the records which maces the specified criteria will be listed. You can apply upto five filters at a time. See More.

Bulk actions in list view

There might be situations in your organization where you have to perform the same action for a set of records. Bulk actions in Bigin allows you to perform the action for the selected records from list view. For example, you might want to send the same welcome email to a set of fifteen companies. In that case, you can simply select the records and send email, which will be sent to all the companies individually. See More.
