It is easy to forget the URL of a ticket or a forum topic you follow, especially with more extended, hyphenated, and non-standard URL formats. And if you follow a lot of tickets or web pages, it will be harder to return to them later. Not anymore!
The Bookmarks for Zoho Desk extension helps you bookmark tickets and various other web pages that are of interest to you. You can bookmark tickets on their details page with just a click. Additionally, you can bookmark frequently accessed web pages by entering their title and URL within the extension.

Installing the Extension
The Bookmarks extension can be installed either from the Zoho Marketplace or your Zoho Desk account. To install from Zoho Desk: - Log into your Zoho Desk account with Administrator privileges
- Click the Setup icon ( ) in the top bar.
- Under Marketplace, click All.
- Search for 'Bookmarks' in the search bar on the right.
- Select the Bookmarks for Zoho Desk extension, and click Install.
- On the Confirm Installation page, agree to the terms and conditions and click Install.
- On the Bookmarks for Zoho Desk Installation Setup page, do the following:
- Select the departments and profiles whose agents can access the extension in Zoho Desk.
- Agree to Terms of Use.
- Click Install.
The extension will be installed for the specified profiles and departments.
- Click Authorize in the pop-up window to activate the extension.
- Click Accept to allow Zoho Workflow to access data in your Zoho Desk account.
Once installed, the locations for accessing the extension will be displayed on the right side of the extension's detail page. The Bookmarks for Zoho Desk extension can be accessed from a ticket's More actions menu and the top band of your help desk.
Bookmarking Tickets
You can bookmark tickets on their details page so that you can quickly return to them later. Additionally, the extension surfaces the tickets you've bookmarked on your web app in the Zoho Desk Android app.
To bookmark a ticket:
- Open the ticket you want to visit again in the future.
- To the top right of the ticket, click the More ( ) icon.
- Click Bookmark Ticket from the drop menu.
The Bookmark Ticket extension will open on the right pane. - Click Bookmark this ticket on the pane.
The ticket will be added to your list of bookmarks.
To access bookmarked tickets:
- Click on the () icon in the top band (menu bar).
- Under Extensions, click Bookmarks in the drop-down menu.
- The Bookmarks page displays a list of bookmarked tickets so that you can easily access or remove marked entries.
- Click Remove corresponding to a particular ticket to remove the bookmark.
Tip: You can remove bookmarks from multiple tickets at once.
Bookmarking Web Pages
You can bookmark frequently accessed web pages by entering their title and URL within the extension. When done, click on the bookmarked web page on the extension to open it in a new tab.
Uninstalling the Extension
You can uninstall the Bookmarks for Zoho Desk extension at any time.
- Click the Setup icon ( ) in the top bar.
- On the Setup Landing page, click All under Marketplace.
- On the Marketplace page, click Installed Extensions.
- Choose Bookmarks for Zoho Desk from the list of extensions.
- Click the More icon ( ) in the upper-right corner of the Bookmarks for Zoho Desk page.
- Select Uninstall Extension.
- Click Confirm.
