Bonusly for Zoho Directory

Prerequisites

  1. A Bonusly Pro account

Configure SAML in Zoho One

  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then use the search bar to find and install Bonusly.

  3. Name your app and enter your App ID.
  4. Note: To find your App ID, sign in to Bonusly, click Integrations from the sidebar, then click SAML under Simple and secure.
  5. If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access Bonusly, uncheck Display app to users.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Click Manage Application, then Single Sign-On.
  8. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them if needed.
  9. Click Identity Provider Details, then make a note of the Issuer, the Sign-in URL, and the X.509 Certificate.

Configure SAML in Bonusly

  1. Sign in to your Bonusly account.
  2. Click Integrations in the sidebar, then click SAML under Simple and secure.
  3. Uncheck Automatically Configure from Metadata.
  4. Enter the IdP Issuer in the IdP Issuer field, the IdP Sign-in URL in the IdP SSO Target URL field, and the IdP X.509 Certificate in the X.509 Cert field.
  5. Click Save.

Just-in-time provisioning

Just-in-time (JIT) provisioning creates a Bonusly account for users during their first SSO attempt, so you don't have to do it manually for each user.

To enable JIT provisioning:
  1. Sign in to your Bonusly account.
  2. Click Company in the sidebar, then click Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings.
  4. Enter your domain under Email domains. Users with email addresses belonging to this domain will be automatically provisioned a Bonusly account.
  5. Check Allow Auto Join, then click Save Settings.

Test the SAML connection

  1. Return to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Bonusly.
  3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  4. Click . If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Bonusly's homepage.

Enforce SAML SSO

After successfully testing SSO, you can enforce it for all users. Once this is done, your users will no longer be able to sign in using their Bonusly credentials. To restrict users to SSO:
  1. Sign in to your Bonusly account.
  2. Click Company in the sidebar, then click Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings.
  4. Check Restrict to Single Sign in under Login Methods, then click Save Settings.

Make app visible to all users

After successfully testing the SSO, you can make Bonusly available for all users to access from their My Apps pages.

To make Bonusly visible to all users:
  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Bonusly.
  3. Click Edit, check Display app to users, then click Update.

  4. You can now access Bonusly from Zoho One's My Apps page.
